Expression of Interest from Industry to license the knowledgebase of allele frequencies of genetic variants and for Exploring partnership in areas of Genomics and applications in healthcare
CSIR-IGIB recently concluded the sequencing of over 1000 whole genomes from across India as part of the IndiGen programme. The programme was an initiative to create the baseline genomic information for development of Public Health applications in India and therefore serves as a unique resource to drive innovations in genomic applications in healthcare.
To this end, CSIR-IGIB invites Expression of Interest from the industries to license the knowledgebase of allele frequencies of genetic variants for development and deployment of commercial applications/services. The knowledge base of allele frequencies of genetic variants encompass over 50 million genetic variants from over 1000 whole genome sequences from across the country.
CSIR-IGIB also invites Partnership with industrial stakeholders who would be interested in research in the field of genomics and genomic applications in healthcare through mutually beneficial collaborations. It is envisaged that such a partnership will augment cutting edge research and would also allow the development and deployment of innovative, population specific and scalable solutions for healthcare.
Interested industries may send an Expression of Interest to:
